About Pacific Grove Travel Pacific Grove Travel was established in December, 1979 and has built a solid reputation for good service, fair prices and friendly service. We are a full service travel agency handling bookings for all cruise lines, tour operators, airlines, hotels and car rentals. In the past several years we have been very successful in organizing and escorting groups on cruises and tours. With our large volume on certain cruise lines and tour operators, we are able to negotiate the lowest fares possible. Pacific Grove Travel is owned and operated by Joe Shammas, CTC who has been in the travel business for over 28 years. He is assisted by Christine Harmina who has 10 years experience in the travel business and Laura Lockett, CTC who has been in the travel agency business for 28 years. Mary Potter, CTC, has recently joined PG Travel after spending many years with a large membership organization.
